HAUNTING MUSIC IN EMPTY
ROOMS
TGREAPER
Olivet College sets just off of South Main
Street in Olivet, Michigan. It was opened in 1844 and resembles a medieval
castle.
The night is filled with the sounds of
unearthly music, which seems to originate from Shepard’s Hall. The security
guards can’t explain it. Things vanish, or get moved. Whole rooms get
re-arranged and one person living there a few years ago reported being grabbed
by some invisible hands in the night. Other people have reported seeing objects
move with nothing controlling them. There have been countless sightings of apparitions
passing through walls and objected moving on their own. The most haunted of
places at the college include Shepard's Hall. Some report that phantom music
could be heard in dorm rooms when it was empty. There have been accounts of
these haunts going back over 150 years. The Conservatory is also where piano
music can be heard playing when no one is there. The other haunted places on
campus include Dole Hall where a cemetery once stood. There have been reports
by people that you can feel someone is staring at you back when in the basement
walking away from the laundry room. Legend has it that a few bodies were left
behind when they were moving bodies to put in the new cemetery in order to make
room for the growing college.
Is the college haunted? Possibly.
Somethings can be debunked, of course, but being grabbed and music coming from
nowhere might be harder to explain. I would love the chance to do a
full-fledged investigation of the college. To listen to the music of the dead.

Valkyrie:
by L.M. David
Ever wonder about Valkyrie?
In Norse mythology, a Valkyrie (from Old Norse Valkyrja "chooser of the slain") is one of a host of female figures who choose those who may die in battle and those who may live. Selecting half of those who die in battle, the Valkyries bring their chosen to the afterlife hall of the slain, Valhalla, ruled by the god Odin (the other half belong to the goddess Freyja's afterlife field Fólkvangr). There, the deceased warriors become einherjar (Old Norse for "single (or once) fighters"). Valkyries also appear as lovers of heroes and other mortals, sometimes described as the daughters of royalty often accompanied by ravens or connected to swans or horses.

Scholarly theories have been proposed about the
relation between the Valkyries, the Norns, and the Dísir, all supernatural
figures associated with fate. Archaeological excavations throughout Scandinavia
have uncovered amulets theorized as depicting Valkyries. In modern culture,
Valkyries have been the subject of works of art, musical works, video games and
poetry.
The word Valkyrie
derives from Old Norse valkyrja (plural valkyrjur), which is
composed of two words; the noun valr (referring to the slain on the
battlefield) and the verb kjósa (meaning "to choose").
Together, they mean "chooser of the slain".
Valkyrie
women are more often than not depicted as female figures and cup and
horn-bearers or Viking Age
stylized silver amulets depicting women with long gowns, hair pulled back,
sometimes bearing drinking horns which have been discovered throughout
Scandinavia. Researchers have noted the amulets appear in Viking Age graves,
and presumably were placed there because "they were thought to have
protective powers”.
The Tjängvide image stone from the island of Gotland
(a small island near Sweden), the images have an image of a rider on an
eight-legged horse, which may be Odin's horse Sleipnir, which may be a
Valkyrie at Valhalla. The 11th century rune stone U 1163
features a carving of a female bearing a horn that has been interpreted as the
Valkyrie Sigrdrífa handing the hero Sigurd (also depicted on the stone) a
drinking horn.
So, these ladies decided a warrior’s fate. And then
offered ale to get both factions drunk. No respect.
In 2013, a small figure dated at around 800 AD was
discovered in Hårby, Denmark,
a figurine that portrays a woman with long hair in a ponytail carrying a sword
and a shield. It was said that "there can hardly be any doubt that the
figure depicts one of Odin's Valkyries as we know them from the sagas as well
as from Swedish picture stones from the time around AD700".

Rand’s Story:
Wiped Away Part 3:
Wiped Away Part 3:
ELITES HQ | STORM CITY, TEXAS
Lance rises to his feet.
Anger overcomes him. He points at Damien.
“What is he doing here?” Lance spouts vehemently.
“Now, now, Agent Thomas.”
Damien says calmly. I mean you no harm. Nor do I want any harm to come to
Destiny. I do still have feelings for her.”
Lance raises a brow.
“Destiny? You and he were once an item.”
Destiny closes her eyes.
Tears run down her cheeks. She can feel the anger spewing from Lance. “Yes,
darling, we were. That was years ago while I was hunting Christopher.”
Damien chuckles. “I hear
Christopher had a very dramatic change. But that is a topic for another time.”
Destiny looks at Damien.
“Please, drop it. I do not wish to relive those memories.”
“Fine, my dear.” Damien says.
He motions to a chair. “Please, Destiny take a seat.”
Destiny sits down. “Please do
be careful in my mind.”
“Darling, I will. Just relax
your mind. Lucifer is likely to have hid these memories in your deep
subconscious mind.” Damien says.
“Will this hurt her?” Lance
asks.
“No. But if I am interrupted
while I am in there this could go sideways fast.” Damien responds to Lance’s
question. “Knowing Lucifer, he has some sort of surprise that he wants Destiny
to know but not know.”
“That makes no sense,” Matt
says.
“Matt, trust me, it does.”
Destiny answers. She takes a deep breath and exhales. She looks up at Damien.
“I am ready.” There is trepidation in her voice.
“It’s alright to be
nervous.” Damien kneels down and looks
into Destiny’s eyes. Matt and Lance see the swirling in Damien’s eyes. They
immediately close their eyes. “Destiny, listen carefully to my voice.”
“Okay.” Destiny says in monotone.
“Good. Now pry deep into your
memories for the other night. Tell me what happened. Everything that happened.”
Destiny goes into the story
of how she was called to help Matt and Lance after Roxanne had disappeared.
Then, she, Lance and Matt saw that Roxanne was turned into a vampire by
Lucifer. Lucifer allowed Rand to leave with his new Vampire Coven. Then,
Lucifer dismissed all the employees and guests with a single snap of his fingers
leaving the three of them with Lucifer alone. She starts shaking.
“Calm down, Destiny. Continue
with the story.”
“… I was frightened. Lucifer
had me in his grasps, which he has been trying for years to do. He put Lance
and Matt to sleep, so that it would just be him and I. He kissed me. It was
warm, passionate, and hot. Our tongues intertwined. Our bodies intertwined as
he passionately took care of me.”
Lance, hearing this, gulps.
Tears begin to roll down his cheeks.
“Did Lucifer hurt or threaten
you in any way?” Damien asks. He knows that Lucifer can be rather persuasive.
“Did Lucifer sway you in any way?”
Lance is fearful for what
Destiny might say. He awaits her answer like Damien does.
“No. Somehow, some way, I was
a willing participant as we became very intimate in every way. Once I dressed
he told me that I would not know and once I found out I will feel guilt and
pain. He, then, sent us away.” Tears rolls down Destiny’s cheeks. “I am so
sorry for what I did to Lance. I was afraid that Lance and / or Matt was going
to be killed. But I felt Lucifer’s loving hand. He is severely misguided and
misunderstood, but not inherently evil. He has no inhibitions.”
Damien, then, closes his eyes
and snaps his fingers. When his eyes open, they are no longer swirling. Destiny
blinks her eyes. Tears continue to roll down her cheeks. She looks over her
shoulder at Lance. She sees his eyes are red and puffy as well.
“Lance, baby. I had no idea.”
Destiny says through tears.
“I know. I forgive you, but
it doesn’t mean it hurts any less, Destiny.” Lance says as he tries to keep
from yelling. A feeling of disgust goes through him.
Destiny gets up and walks
over to Lance. She sits down in his lap and strokes his face. “Baby, I’m so
sorry.”
Lance lifts her off his lap
and sets her on her feet. He rises from his seat. Then, he walks away.
Destiny follows after him.
“Lance, baby?”
Lance puts a hand out and
looks at Destiny. There is anger on his face. “Des, no. I need time to myself.
I need to process this, okay?”
Destiny gulps. “Fine.” She
hangs her head and walks away from Lance. She heads back to her chair and sits
back down. She puts her head in her hands and begins weeping. Matt gets up from
his seat and walks over to Destiny. He rubs her back. She looks up at him.
“Matt?”
Matt kneels down and looks at
Destiny eye to eye. “Look, you are going to have to give Lance some time,
Destiny. It’s a lot for him to process. Especially, how you talked about
Lucifer.”
Destiny is choked up. She
nods her head. “Okay.”
DEAD MAN’S CURVE | STORM CITY
Roxanne walks out onto the
balcony of the former, run down Goth Club. She sees the moonlight shine down.
The thirst to drink human blood rises into her throat. However, she senses
something strange going on in her family. She gulps.
Rand sees her on the balcony.
He notices that Roxanne is standing there with her arms crossed. He walks up to
her. He puts his arms on her upper arms.
“Something wrong, Roxy?” Rand
asks.
Roxanne turns and looks at
Rand. She sighs. “I feel like there is something out of kilter. Something has
happened to Destiny. Something that she may not be able to repair.”
“How do you know?” Rand asks.
He is finding this highly unusual for a vampire to be connected with a
Nephilim. “I thought that your Nephilim powers were torn asunder by you turning
into a vampire.”
“Honestly, I am not sure. But
I sense that trouble is around the corner. Something evil is rising.”
“Great.” Rand says. “This
town doesn’t need any more stress.”
“I know. This evil scares
me.”
“It worries me, too.”

Aliens and
Astral Projection
If a
person were to start counting off in seconds, how long do you think it would
take to get to a billion? Don’t bother trying. It would take over thirty-one
years to do. That example was to familiarize you with what a billion is. Now,
the universe is purported to have over 250 billion galaxies, with each galaxy
containing hundreds of billions of stars. Our
galaxy, the Milky Way, has between 100 billion stars on the low end, and
400 billion stars on the high end. With the surge in scientist finding planets around some of these stars, the
recent calculation has put the number of inhabitable planets in our Milky Way to be approximately 8.8
billion planets.
Taking
this one step further, Frank Drake created a formula to derive a probabilistic
number for how many alien species may be in our galaxy that are capable of communicating with us. Using this equation, the current number of
possible intelligent alien civilizations in the Milky Way galaxy is almost
5,000. Bruno Martini, in his article; At
last, how many alien civilizations are out there? stated, “If those galactic societies were equally spaced,
they could be at an average distance of 28,845 light-years apart. That’s too
far to have a dialogue with them, even through electromagnetic radiation
traveling at the speed of light. So, even with such a potentially high number
of advanced civilizations, interstellar communication would still be a major
technological challenge. Still, according to SDE, (Statistical Drake
Equation), the average distance we should expect
to find any alien intelligent life form may be 2,670 light-years from Earth.
There is a 75% chance we could find ET between 1,361 and 3,979 light-years
away.”
The
above photo was taken by NASA and shows the numerous galaxies that exist in a
small portion of the observable universe.
If you have ever seen a Star
Trek movie, then you should be aware
that Warp Factor One is traveling at the
speed of light. Yet, in the series and the movies, there is no talk of the time
dilations, which according to Einstein’s Special Relativity Theory, would
occur. For instance, if the Starship Enterprise were
traveling at half the speed of light, or, 93,141.198 miles per second, the time
dilation, or slowing down of time for the crew in comparison to the Earth, would be approximately 1.15. That is to
say that from a perspective of a person standing on earth, their clocks would tick 1.15 times faster than
the Starship Enterprises. Alternatively, we could say that for every year
experienced by the crew zipping along through space at half the speed of light,
1.15 years have passed on Earth. Additionally, if the Starship Enterprise were traveling at .9 times the speed of light,
for every year spent at that speed, the Earth
would experience 2.3 years. And we haven’t even reach Warp Factor One. So, here
we see the implausibility of traveling at speeds that could help us navigate
our galaxy. Our closest neighboring star, Alpha Centauri A and Alpha Centauri B,
a double star system, is 4.3 light years away. If humanity were able to build a
ship that could travel at half the speed of light, it would take, 8.6 years to
get there. Not too bad, but consider that approximately 10 years will have
passed on Earth. If we were traveling a .9 the speed of light, then it would
take 4.8 years to reach Alpha Centauri, but 11 years would have passed on
earth. More than double the Earth years
would have passed by the time the ship arrived. This is a problem, not only for
Earthlings but also for all sentient
species of our galaxy. Interesting enough is the fact that as a ship approaches
the speed of light, the time dilation increases to Paramount proportion. Let us say a ship, traveling too close to the event horizon of a black hole, becomes
captured by its massive gravity and is
pulled into its inner core at a speed
approaching the speed of light. From earth’s perspective, we would see the ship
frozen at the precipice of the spinning vortex, not moving, forever stuck. From the viewpoint of the ship’s crew, we would
see centuries pass, and Sol, the Earth’s sun will explode, as it dies a
millennium from now. The ship’s time has stopped, or you could say, that is has
slowed to such a degree that the universe ages millions and billions of years
per millisecond. (One point to note is that Stephen Hawking and Leonard
Susskind argued whether information is
retained in the universe after a black hole consumes an object. Susskind won,
and showed that an ingoing object is consumed immediately, yet an imprint of it
former design remains behind as outgoing radiation. This solves the mystery of
how an object can seemingly remain trapped within a black hole, from Earth’s
perspective, and simultaneously fall into it, from the ship’s perspective).
Therefore,
you see, for an intelligent species of alien life to arrive on Earth, they
would have to be in command of some sort of alternate mode of travel. (Barring
such things as the Alcubierre drive, which creates a warp bubble by compressing
the space in front of it and expanding the space behind, or a creation of a
stable traversable wormhole, which must utilize a material not yet discovered
and only theorized to exist, called Exotic
matter. Exotic matter is matter that does
not have the properties of ordinary
matter in that it may have a negative energy or mass, and is likened to the
mysterious dark matter, which physicist believe encompasses ninety percent of
the universe. (Remember Yesod, Unus mundus and the Higgs Field from my previous
article, The Physics of Magick…Things
that make you go hmmm).
Now
onto aliens and astral projection, and the
many similarities that exist between encounters with aliens and the
out-of-body-experience. John Mack, in his book, Abduction:
Human Encounters with Aliens, nicely
compares and contrasts many esoteric states encountered in both experiences.
For instance, during an astral experience, novices of the feat may find that
they are lying in bed fully conscious, yet are paralyzed, unable to move a
muscle, but have the ability to hear and feel. In psychological terms, this is
called sleep paralysis and is believed to be caused by a person waking up
during REM sleep, where the body is in a state of atonia, which is the paralysis of the body during REM sleep to
prevent the sleeping person from acting out their dreams. Fair enough. Other
causes implicated in sleep paralysis are sleep apnea and sleep deprivation.
However, I believe that sleep paralysis is indicative of the novice astral
journeyer having the preliminary stages of soul separation. Unconscious forces
are at work with the sleeping person, and push the individual to the brink of
an experience that surpasses all. As a long time
sufferer of sleep paralysis, I
discovered that it was the catalysis for the out-of-body-experience. If you
read any articles or books on alien abduction or encounters, paralysis is a
major part. Abductees often report lying in bed, unable to move and seeing
either the Greys or taller, more dominant beings.
Further comparisons entail passing through solid objects. How
often have abductees stated that they floated upwards while they were lying in
bed and passed through the ceiling? Probably most. What is happening is that
these extraterrestrial beings are present
in the astral world and coax the abductee into having an
out-of-body-experience. And it is that body, the astral body, that is taken for
study. Some abductees reported how the aliens entered their bedroom by either
appearing suddenly, or walking through the walls and then leaving the same way.
Unless these aliens are in control of some sort of technology that contradicts
known physics, they are here in the astral.
Whitney Strieber, in his book Communion,
writes about his encounters with the Greys, who visited him in his home on many
nights. Strieber’s account of his many interactions with the visitors has detailed astral phenomenon such as going
through walls, rising up in his bed, and even playing a game of astral tag,
where the alien entities and other abductees project spheres of energy at each
other while in their astral bodies. Additionally, in his book, The Communion Letters, several people
speak of being paralyzed during their precursor abduction experience and detail
the many astral phenomena previously mentioned.
The following paragraph is a personal account of a visitation as
told to me from a dear and trusted friend.
It happened many years ago, and a friend of mine, who shall remain
nameless, told me about an alien encounter he experienced while sleeping in his
NYC apartment next to his wife. Sometime during the night, as he was sleeping
on his right side, he felt three gentle pokes on his left calf. Thinking it was
his wife foot prodding him, he ignored it. Three more taps on his calf ensued,
this time with a little more fervor. Annoyed now, he attempted to push his wife
legs away from him with his legs but
found she was curled up on the edge of her
side of the bed, legs and feet nowhere
near his. Puzzled, he sat up. There in front of him where what he described as
five tall beings, similar in appearance to the Greys, but standing six-feet
tall. Light pale skin, wearing shimmering,
one-piece silver outfits, passive, non-threatening, they brought with them five
to seven other beings, whom my friend stated were part of him. (My friend asked
me to withhold the details of the appearance
of these related entities, only because he has said that in his search for similar encounters
and descriptions, he has found nothing even vaguely similar. What he
experienced does not fit into other testimonies of abductees claiming that they
met their hybrid children. My friend wishes to keep the details of his hybrid spawn concealed until he or I
can find similar comparisons).
After spending several moments with the hybrids, my friend felt a
presence on his left side, just over his shoulder. When he turned, an alien
face peered at him only inches from his. Its lips spread wide, the corners of
its mouth pulled taught, high, wrapping around its head. Rows and rows of needle-like teeth
gleamed in the darkness. My friend, paralyzed with fear, his mouth hanging
open, emitted a soft moan. Then, instantaneously, the beings were gone, leaving
him sitting in his bed, alone.
As I questioned my friend to elaborate on specific details, he
stated that he could easily recall the face of the creature that invaded his
personal space, exposing its teeth. My friend indicated
that he does not know if the creature was grinning or smiling in a passive way,
or if the expression was one of malice. What would an alien think of our broad smile, baring
our teeth in an expression of joy, or hearty laughter,
our mouth wide and weird sounds being
emitted?
Below is a clay sculpture that my friend created of the creature
as it exposed its teeth, inches from his face.
My anonymous friend created the
above sculpture. It depicts the creature that appeared in his bedroom
inches from his face. Whether the being is smiling or snarling has yet to be
determined, and the image remains vivid in his mind’s eye.
To this day, my friend has experienced something
tapping his calf in the middle of the night. The taps are always in sets of
threes, and he is still hesitant to open his eyes again for fear of seeing the
ambivalent creature again. However, my friend stated that he did gather the
courage to do so, but has yet to elaborate further details to me. He reiterates
that he felt no malice in the encounter, but believes the aliens were there to share with him his hybrid
offspring.
Additionally, my friend has had many astral experiences and is confident that this encounter took place while he was out-of-his-body, yet still within his bedroom. It was his astral body that sat up, while his sleeping body lay undisturbed. If not for his understanding of the astral plain, he would have sworn the encounter was physical in nature. This could account for the many people claiming to be physically abducted from the home. They are not experienced enough with astral travel to recognize the difference.

This could account for the many people claiming to be physically abducted from the home. They are not experienced enough with astral travel to recognize the difference.
Whether these beings are from another planet, the future, another
dimension, or even possibly from deep within the subconscious, I do not know.
But what I believe is that these beings are contacting us on the astral plain,
complete with astral apparatus for carrying out their plans. Remember, whatever is changed on the
astral plain, appears on the physical plain. As for the hybrids, my friend’s
detail of their appearance does not fit in with the traditional descriptions of
hybrid beings, of beautiful human looking children with big eyes. This almost
makes me believe his testimony more valid than others. There is no romance in
it, no feeling of being special or chosen. He told me his story as mere fact,
more afraid of further night encounters than anything else and highly perplexed
at its meaning. I question many of the people claiming to be abductees, who
state that they provided their DNA for future alien hybrids. Really? I would
believe Mozart, Einstein or Da Vinci, or someone profoundly capable in the
esoteric arts if they stated to me that the aliens wanted their DNA. But for most people with the
claim, I don’t know, perhaps. As for my friend, why did the aliens choose him?
Probably because he is profoundly efficient in the esoteric arts and astral
projection and has chosen a life (or the life has
been selected for him), that
expedites the evolution of his soul.
The author has come to conclude that the physical appearance of
aliens is highly unlikely given the limitation of the physical universe and that it is much more feasible for
an advanced civilization to utilize a dimension where faster than light travel
is possible. Do I believe the construction of a material that is of both
dimensions, i.e. physical and astral? Possibly.
Humanity has recently discovered the Higgs Particle, or God particle, as most
probably know it. Will mankind one day be able to manipulate a particle that is
alleged to produce physical mass from the infinite void of pure potential? I
think, yes. Then again, I don’t see the glass as half empty or even half full.
I see it as the collapse of the wave function
after my consciousness has observed it.

Dear
Hattie:
Yesterday, I was just doing my mom a favor, and minding my business in the woods when along came this stranger, this hairy guy with a wolf whistle. He was charming to start, and pretty nice, then he started to get creepy with a list of questions.
“Where are you going, and what’s in the basket? Do your mother and father know you’re out here alone? How old are you? Where do you live?” Frankly, he was creepy as an internet stalker.
I told him none of those things were his business, and he looked angry, and I walked farther down the trail.
All of a sudden he comes running up, and says he’s sorry, that he worried about me walking alone in the woods. He grabbed onto my shoulder and pulled me into a bear hug, complete with boob rubbing. I turned to him and sweetly showed him, with a kick to the crotch, why I wasn’t afraid to walk alone. Damn, I swear I get all the losers.
Dear, dear Hattie, do you think this red-hooded sweatshirt is magnetic?
Dear Red:
I don’t know about magnetic, but at least after you kick a few more losers you’ll recognize them by the limping

brow. “What’s your question, honey?”
“I’ve been wondering. Since
my father is a lycan, why am I not one? I would’ve thought I would have been.”
Belle asks.
Destiny leans her head back
and closes her eyes. She sighs. This was not what she was anticipating. “Baby,
your father was, also, Nephilim. It looks as though you are taking on his
Nephilim powers right now. But the potential of you becoming lycan is still
there.”
“Oh.” Belle looks a little
disconcerted.
Energy begins to emit from
Elise. Both Destiny and Belle turn towards Elise. They shield their eyes. Ethan
notices the light from upstairs and comes rushing down. He sees his mother
emitting energy from her body.
“What the hell is going on?”
Ethan screams over the wooshing sounds coming from Elise.
“Watch your language young
man!” Destiny yells at Ethan. “But we don’t know! This just started.”
The energies begin to lower
their intensity. Elise looked at the three. Her hair, floating in the air, as
she rises a foot off the ground.
“The time has come.” An eerie
voice comes from Elise. It is so unlike her own. “The Pumpkin King returns in
the morrow. The Blood Moon has opened the portal for the return of the Pumpkin
King after his banishment.”
Disgust comes over Destiny.
Belle sees the look on Destiny’s face. “Mom, what’s going on? Who is the
Pumpkin King?”
Destiny shakes her head. “You
don’t want to know, but unfortunately you will. It’s been 16 years since the
Pumpkin King was last in Storm City. He affects all of the paranormal
communities within the entire metro area. He is a malevolent spirit of some
evil sorcerer that was long gone. The Grand Witches and the Archmages gathered
together to banish the Pumpkin King last time.”
“But how are we going to deal
with him this time?”
“That is a very good
question, Ethan.” Destiny says. “Some of the Grand Witches and Archmages we had
for help last time have since passed.”
The energy dissipates and
Elise drops to the ground. Ethan jumps off the stairwell and runs over to her.
“Mom!”
He skids to a stops and lifts
her limp body and head off the ground. A groggy Elise sees Ethan holding her
up. Sweat pours from her curly locks. She reaches up and strokes Ethan’s cheek.
“Ethan, my boy. I need you to take me to the Sanctuary. My energy has been
sapped from me.”
“Mom, it’s late. I don’t have
the power to do so.” Ethan pleads.
“Your car, silly. I am not
dying, just weak.” Elise says.
Destiny looks down at Elise.
“I could call Sandy. She has healing powers.”
“No!” Elise spouts. “I knew
this Blood Moon was a bad sign!”
Elise gets to her feet. She
wobbles. Ethan helps her over to the nearby couch. She is frustrated as Ethan
helps her sit down. “Thank you, Ethan. Can you fix me some Chamomile Tea?”
“Sure.” Ethan walks over to the kitchen.
Destiny leans over to Belle.
“Go with your brother.”
“Mom!” Belle whines. Destiny
glares at her. Belle leans away from her. “Okay.”
Destiny walks over to the
couch while Belle walks into the kitchen. She sits down next to Elise. “I can
teleport you there, if you’d like, Elise.”
“No, Des, I need Ethan’s
help.”
“What can Belle and I do?”
Destiny asks. “I am afraid this is going to be more difficult than last time.”
“I know, Des. It scares me
that he is back. I thought we’d never see him again.” Elise says. “I need you to
be ready. Call Christina and see if she has been affected by the Blood Moon.
Pray she and the kids have not.”
“I am. Trust me I am.”
Destiny says. “Do I need to call for Aron to help us?”
Elise is huffing and puffing.
“Let’s hope not. I do not want to deal with his father.”
“Nor do I. Believe me, I do
not either.”

Goldilocks
revenge
Once
upon a time there was a little blonde haired girl named Gianna. Her mother was
a beautiful gypsy that traveled all over the country until she met her father.
The two fell in love and soon after Gianna was born. She has golden blonde hair
and beautiful tanned skin.
One day though when Gianna was ten years old the family
decided to go on a picnic in the woods. What they didn’t realize was they were
silently being stalked by a mated pair of bears. They remained from the family’s
view until nightfall. As the family slept in their tent the bears raided
through the camp eating all of their food. Their stomachs rumbling from hunger.
They sniff the air and can tell that Gianna’s mother had started her monthly
cycle. The scent of blood fills their nostrils making them hungrier.
They rip through the tent with minimal effort and the
female attacks Gianna’s mother. Her father awakes from his wife’s screams and
tries to pull her away from the male. Gianna started crying when she wakes from
her parents being mauled.
“Run Gianna go get help!” her mother cried out.
Gianna ran from the tent and out into the woods screaming
for help. It takes her an hour until she reaches the nearby town. She
approached several people for help but they recognized her and refused to help.
“Your mother is nothing but a gypsy whore and your father
is worthless trash so why would we help them.” They would say.
Discouraged Gianna fell to her knees and broke down
crying. Then a lumberjack helped her up.
“I’ll help you.” He said. “Just show me where your camp
is.”
Gianna wiped away her tears with the sleeve of her shirt
and takes the lumberjack by the hand leading him through the forest until they
made it to the camp. The lumberjack searches through the remains of the tent
but doesn’t find anything but bloody fabric from clothing and material from the
tent. Tears flowed down her cheeks and the lumberjack holds her.
“Don’t you worry. I will find your family one way or the
other. Just stay close to me.”
The lumberjack followed the bear tracks and the trail
left from bodies being dragged over the soil. Soon they came across a cave and
slowly entered. Gianna sees her parents on the cold rocks in the den staring at
her through dead eyes. Their clothing and flesh torn to shreds.
“Momma!” she cried out.
She ran over to her mother’s side. The lumberjack tried
to stop her before she could run over but heard the loud roar of a bear coming
from behind him. Gianna held her mother’s lifeless hand and cried. The
lumberjack struggled with the male bear and then the female raised her snout
from her father’s gut and roared at Gianna before it swiped at her. She moved
out of the way of the bears claws just before they could reach her.
“Run little girl!” the lumberjack pleaded with Gianna.
The male swiped at the lumberjack’s belly slashing it
wide open. Gianna screams before running by them covering her ears to block out
the sound from the bears roars. Once out of the cave she can hear the
lumberjack screaming as the bears eat him alive.
With her heart broken Gianna ran through the woods and no
one in the area had seen her again for eight years. On her eighteenth birthday
Gianna returned to the same town that she had tried to get help from. Several
men stared at her whistling as she walked by. Women stared at her with envy
wishing that they could compare to her beauty. Her natural tanned skin and long
beautiful blonde hair that are a rare combination for the area. With a wicked
grin Gianna fed off the attention until she stopped in the center of town.
“You know what I find funny?” she said loud enough for
everyone to hear. “That eight years ago I could barely get any of your
attention when I begged you for help. My mother and father were dying and you
wouldn’t lift a single finger to help me. A poor lumberjack died trying to save
me and all you could do is shame my mother and call her a whore. You shamed my
father and called him trash.”
The older towns people lowered their heads in shame
knowing that she was right remembering that horrible night.
“My mother may have done a few questionable things in her
life but she didn’t deserve your damnation or your judgement. What you sheep
didn’t know was that my mother is the one responsible from keeping the wolf at
your door at bay. The big bad wolf would have been knocking every night if it weren’t
for my mother.”
Gianna began laughing as she removed her clothing. When
she stood in the center of town naked everyone stared at her. Men wanted her
and women were disgusted by her. She started touching herself and rubbed her
hands all over her body. When the people paid more attention to her hands they
noticed that hair had started growing on them. Her fingernails grew longer
before their eyes as they grew into claws.
“Now there is nothing that can save you!” She said
through long canine teeth.
Gianna’s eyes turn golden and soon her body is
transformed into a werewolf. People ran through the streets screaming with fear
as she tore through one person after another. Soon the streets ran red with the
blood of men, women, and even children. The screams of the people are soon
replaced by deep laughter as Gianna got her revenge from the towns people.
Gianna returned to the cave where the bears were and came
across three spots where three different sized bears have made into beds. Then
she saw three carcasses of animals which she assumed were intended as meals for
the three bears. A sly grin spreads across her face.
The male bear, the female bear, and their cub soon
entered the cave. They walked over to their meal they had left and noticed that
most of the meat had been devoured. Confused the three bears decided to take a
nap before going out to look for more food. When the male reached his bedding
he could smell that someone had been in his bed and defiled it by urinating on
it. The female went to her bed and smelled the strong odor of urine knowing
that someone had been in her bed. When the cub made it to his bed he urinates on
himself seeing the werewolf in his bed.
Gianna roars loudly as she rips the bear cubs head clear
from its body. The other bears roared as they attempted to attack Gianna but
her speed was too great and she overcame their brute strength.
Her laughs echoed through the cave as she slaughtered the three bears. When her work was done she licked the blood and gore from her talons with a grin spread across her lupine snout. Then once again she laughed knowing that on this day Goldilocks had finally received her long awaited revenge.

The Experiment
Mandy hid in her shell well. She’d learned over the years
not to trust anyone or get close to anyone. After all she’d been through, who
could blame her? She’d been brutally attacked and then carried off to an
underground laboratory where she was tested on for so long that she lost count
of the days. She had become friends with Evan, the Doctor on staff since she
ended up in the hospital ward enough to establish a patient/doctor relationship
with him. He took pity on her and what was being done to her but didn’t know
how to help her though she’d never even asked for his help. Finally, one day
after a severe beating, Evan approached her with a plan he’d hatched for her. ‘His
feelings for her went beyond patient/doctor relationships so he wanted to help
her escape’ he explained.
One evening, after everyone had gone home, he came to her
bedside and waited for her to wake up. When she did, he smiled down at her. She
instantly became paranoid as the only other experiences with doctors she’d had
was when they wanted to experiment on her yet he’d always been friendly with
her in the hospital ward.
“Hello Mandy. How are you feeling tonight?” he asked her. At
first she was afraid to speak but he had a soothing tone in his voice.
“I feel like death warmed over. I wouldn’t cooperate with
the doctors so they beat me to near death.”
“They believe they put you in a coma which is no use to
them. They will discard you if you are still in a coma in the morning or go
back to experimenting on you if you are awake” he explained.
“I know. I can’t take it anymore” she said, breaking down
into tears. Evan came closer and sat on the side of her bed. She was instantly
uncomfortable.
“I may have something that will help you.”
“What’s that?” she asked, still unsure of his intentions.
“It’s called Tetrodotoxin.
It will slow you heart rate so that everyone will think you are dead. I’m in
charge of disposing the bodies so I can then take you out of this place” he
said smiling.
“Why would you want to do
that?” she asked suspiciously.
“Mandy, don’t tell me you
haven’t felt the chemistry between us every time you come in here.”“Well…yes but…”
“There’s no but in this
equation. I want to help you, get you out of here, hide you, give you your
freedom back and live with you forever.”
“Really?” she said,
starting to perk up and forgetting the shell she’d built around her. He, was
willing to help her? She couldn’t believe it. “Okay. What do I need to do?”
“First thing in the
morning, before the doctors make their rounds, I’ll give you enough of the Tetrodotoxin
that they think you’re dead. I’ll take you down to the morgue. I can ‘sneak’
you out there, load you into the hearse and take you to my house.”
“I have to go in a hearse?”
she asked starting to hyperventilate. He quickly found her a bag to blow into
to calm her down.
“Yes, I’m sorry. They
monitor the outdoor activities so I’ll have to do my usual routine here on the
grounds but after I drive off the grounds, I can take you anywhere.” Mandy
smiled at him gratefully.
“You can make all that
happen?” she asked, still in disbelief.
“Of course. I am already
the final doctor in charge of patient disposal and if for some reason they have
another doctor declare you dead, due to the medication, they won’t suspect a
thing.”
Cautiously she said, “Okay.
I’d like to go with you.” He smiled at her, rose from her bed and patted her on
the leg.
“We’ll see you in the
morning. Get some rest” he said, turning to go with a smile on his face only he
could see.
The following morning came
and he’d given her the Tetrodotoxin just like he said before the doctors
made their rounds. Just as he explained, the doctors, when they came to her,
her heart rate was non-existent so they declared her dead. They gave the usual
instructions to Evan so he covered her up and moved her down to the morgue. He
gave her a shot to raise her heart beat and bring her back to full capacity.
She shot up with a giant gulp of air, not remembering what was going on. She
saw Evan standing next to her with a smile on his face.
“Welcome back” he said.
She smiled at him, now remembering the plan they’d hatched. “Now, I need you to
stay still and I’ll roll you out to the hearse just in case they are watching.
We’ll go to my house for the rest of the day and get you settled in. I’ll call
the lab and tell them when I went home for lunch I felt ill so I won’t be
returning for the rest of the day. That will give us time to finish up the
paperwork for our new I.D. cards and passports. Where in the world would you
like to go to start our new lives together?” he asked. She thought about it for
a while before answering,
“Brazil”.
“Brazil it is then” he
grinned. He took her out to the waiting hearse and drove her to his house. They
snuck into the outside access doors to the cellar and then into the house. As
soon as Evan had Mandy in the cellar, he grabbed her and tied her up to the
wall.
“What are you doing?” she
asked confused.
“You see, Mandy, I have my
own experiments for people and you are the perfect candidate for my newest
experiment. The laboratory will not let me do my own experiments so I have to
either lure people here or take them from the laboratory like I did with you”
he explained smiling a sickeningly sweet smile. Mandy knew she was in trouble
and had nowhere to turn. She had believed she was really going to have a new
life with Evan.
He took her from the wall
after he had his table set up. He strapped her up to a standing metal apparatus
and looked her up and down with disgust.
“You were so easy. So
eager to leave you’d trust an almost complete stranger offering you a way out.
You are naïve, Mandy and now you are mine, all mine.”
“What are you going to do
to me?” she demanded through her tears.
“I’m going to make you a
super vampire. One that has been brainwashed into having no regard for human
life.
One that kills others not only for sustenance but for sport. Your brain
will be programmed to a remote, both physically and mentally so I can control
you completely while you are out there in the streets. See, I said I could give
you freedom but I didn’t say what the price would be” he laughed maniacally.
Mandy remembered she broke
her own rule, ‘Never trust anyone’. Now she was going to be a blood sucking
warrior and have the freedom to walk around on the streets but being controlled
by a doctor she thought would help her. Boy was she wrong.
